ACT II INCUBATOR
Powered by Black Women in Production.
“Where your vision meets your village—and your next chapter begins.”
Act II Incubator is a full-scale production program for creatives ready to step into their next chapter. Designed for storytellers with lived experience and a clear vision, the incubator provides the crew, resources, and infrastructure needed to take a project from idea to finished screen-ready work.
This isn’t a classroom — it’s a working set. Over a focused production cycle, participants develop their concept, collaborate with a professional crew, and move through pre-production, filming, and post-production with the support of Act Out Media’s network. Each project emerges with a polished final cut, production credits, and a plan for distribution or festival submissions.
Act II Incubator exists to greenlight voices that rarely get the chance — giving creators the tools, access, and momentum to own their stories from start to finish.
The ACT II GreenLit FUND
Powered by Black Women in Production
The Act II GreenLit Fund fuels bold, culturally resonant projects at a time when traditional media funding is shrinking. Designed to remove the most common barrier to creation — access to capital — the fund provides direct financial backing and production resources to ensure vital stories are brought from concept to completion.
Whether supporting independent films, theater productions, or multimedia projects, the GreenLit Fund champions work that pushes culture forward and creates space for underrepresented voices. With each grant awarded, we make a statement: these stories matter, they deserve the greenlight, and they belong on screens, stages, and platforms where they can reach the audiences who need them most.
